About the Role

Participate in training programs and on-the-job learning opportunities to gain a solid understanding of plant design and engineering principles, industry standards, and relevant software applications such as Smart Plant 3D/P&ID.
Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and project teams to support various aspects of plant design and engineering projects.
Assist in creating and modifying 3D models, process flow diagrams, and instrumentation details using Smart Plant 3D/P&ID software under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including equipment lists, material take-offs, technical specifications, and reports.
Learn to interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Support the coordination and integration of deliverables from various disciplines (e.g., process engineering, electrical engineering) into the overall project model.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment of project deliverables.
Assist in troubleshooting software issues, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices for efficient project execution.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to plant design and engineering, actively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Strong passion and interest in pursuing a career in plant design and engineering.

  • Prior experience, education, or a background in a related field such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or technical drafting would be advantageous.

  • Basic knowledge of technical principles and an aptitude for learning new software applications and concepts.

  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and a willingness to learn and become proficient in Smart Plant 3D/P&ID.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

  • Motivated and proactive approach to learning, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.

Salary

€ 18.000 - € 24.000 depending on your qualification
